BEYONCE LIP-SYNCED AT INAUGURATION
Beyonce lip-synced the "Star-Spangled Banner" at Monday's inaugural ceremonies. A U.S. Marine Band spokeswoman said Tuesday, "We all know Beyonce can sing. We all know the Marine Corps Band can play. We do not know why she decided to go with the pre-recorded music at the last minute." The band was not playing while Beyonce was singing, but it was live during the rest of the performances, including Kelly Clarkson's rendition of "My Country, 'Tis of Thee."
... Clarkson could be seen signaling to Beyonce after the national anthem performance and appeared to mouth the words, "It's so hard." James Taylor, another performer at the cold, outdoor inauguration ceremony, said he was happy to get through his performance "without any train wrecks." Taylor said, "It's always hard for a guitar player to play when it's cold because your hands sort of stiffen up and you know nerves tend to do that to you anyway. So I was, you know, very relieved to have gotten to it without any major train wrecks."

... Col. Michael J. Colburn, who serves as the director of the Marine Corps Band, said, Beyoncé has been busy prepping for her Super Bowl halftime performance and didn't have time to rehearse the song properly with the band.

LINDSAY LOHAN TURNS DOWN $500,000 OFFER FROM "DANCING WITH THE STARS"

Lindsay Lohan turned down over a half of million dollars to do "Dancing with The Stars."

Sources say ABC offered the actress $550,000 to appear on the hit show but she said no.   Supposedly, Lohan doesn't want to do reality TV and wants to stick to movies.

A rep for DWTS wouldn't confirm or deny the rumor saying: "We don't comment on casting."

JAMES EARL JONES VOICE OF CNN AGAIN

James Earl Jones is back to saying "This is CNN" for the cable news channel. The Oscar-nominee and voice of Darth Vader was a mainstay of the network for years, but his voice hasn't been used between commercial interruptions for awhile. It will once again be used on CNN thanks to Jeff Zucker, who started at the cable news channel on Monday.
