Today's Tearjerker...

A heartbroken dog whose owner died two months ago is missing her so much he is attending services at the church (in Italy) where her funeral was held and patiently waiting for her to return.

Tommy, a seven-year-old German Shepherd, belonged to a 57-year-old woman who adopted him when she found him abandoned in fields close to her home. She would walk to church with him from her home every day, where the priest would allow him to sit patiently by her feet.

When she died, Tommy went to her funeral and since then, he has been a regular at the church arriving on time when the bells ring at the start of services.

The priest says that Tommy never barks during church and that no one has complained about his presence during services.
