WARNING: This Story has the two words no man EVER wants to hear

A 66-year-old who had lived his whole life as a man got a shocking diagnosis after seeking medical help in Hong Kong for a swollen abdomen — he was a woman. Doctors realized the patient was female after they found the swelling came from a large cyst on an ovary. It turns out she suffered from a rare ailment that caused the development of a tiny penis (d'oh!) and extra body hair.

Spaced In Cleveland

William Shatner is going live and uncut with Betty White. The Star Trek alum will guest-star on the June 19 live episode of Hot in Cleveland. Shatner will also be joined by The Office star Brian Baumgartner. In a statement, the 82-year-old Shatner joked, "At long, long last, I am working with someone older than me." Betty White is 91.

It is Largo, After All

A Florida (Largo) man fired several rounds from an AR-15 into his home. When asked why he did it he told a judge: "I was defending my own house." He was shooting into his own home because he thought he saw people by his house. He told an officer he had injected prescription medication and had not slept in days.

And Your Point?

A North Carolina couple chose to tie the knot at a rather unusual spot: Walmart. Wayne and Susan Bradenburg got married at the same Walmart where they met in 2005. Wayne came into Walmart a few times a week to see Susan, who worked as a cashier. Wayne eventually became confident enough to ask Susan on a date at a Chinese buffet. Susan gladly accepted his invite and brought her two daughters along. He fell for Susan and started to bring her lunch to Walmart every day. Just a year later, Wayne proposed to Susan and she accepted. The couple stayed engaged for six years. When they finally decided on a date, Wayne suggested to get married at Walmart.

Okay, Maybe We've Gone a Little Far

A family in Thailand literally had a newborn baby left on their doorstep -- by none other than their own dog. The parents' 12-year-old daughter heard the dog barking, and when she went to see what all the noise was about, she saw a white plastic bag -- and found a newborn baby girl inside of it with her umbilical cord still attached. The dog rescued this poor abandoned baby and brought her home -- almost like he instinctively knew his family would be able to help her. The girl immediately ran to get her parents, who rushed the baby to the hospital. Now the parents want to adopt the baby. (picture not that of this story-but ain't they cute?)

I love abandoned places! Call me weird, but there is a quiet beauty to places that have been long vacated and left to nature. Here is a collection from Where Cool Things Happen. Just click on the image.
