District All-Star Match at Barberton tonight BARBERTON -- The best senior volleyball players in Summit, Medina, Portage and Lorain County will share a court for the final time tonight in the annual District 3 All-Star Matches. The action takes place at Barberton High beginning at 6 p.m. In the opener, a team coached by Wadsworth's Terri Mason battles a squad piloted by Mogadore's Jen Ritch and Lake Center Christian's Jim Noall. The nightcap features Archbishop Hoban's Tricia Johnson and her team against Medina's Jason Schellenberger and his club. Worthington Christian (18-1-4) won the title match 2-1 at Crew Stadium in the first overtime when CVCA freshman goalkeeper Nick Ciraldo was unable to corral a routine ball.
