Pro football in Akron?  It's a possibility.

The Associated Press reports that the United States Football League will be making a comeback after going out of business in 1987.

The league plans to start with eight teams and is considering Akron or Columbus as possible cities to place one of its franchises

The USFL plans to kick off next March and play a 14-game season, which they say won't compete with the NFL schedule.
