Ronald Martinez/Getty Images(MIAMI) -- LeBron James has captured his first Larry O’Brien Trophy, as the Miami Heat scorched the Oklahoma City Thunder 121-106 Thursday night to win the NBA Finals in five games. It’s the Heat’s second NBA championship.
The Heat went into halftime leading 59-49 behind James’ 15 points. Miami was on the money from downtown in the first half, hitting seven 3-pointers, with Mike Miller leading the way with four threes.
The Thunder shot a dismal 37 percent from the floor in the first two quarters.
