Fujita Embraces Browns Turnaround
 3/9/2010 6:28:04 PM  |  Associated Press

Scott Fujita knows all about what's possible in the NFL.

In 2006, he joined a New Orleans Saints team coming off a 3-13 campaign and returning to play in a disaster-stricken city.

Four years later, New Orleans won its first Super Bowl.

Cleveland has been suffering lately for economic reasons, and the Browns also have endured their share of losing lately.

That's a scenario in which Fujita sees opportunity.

The 30-year-old linebacker acknowledges that he signed a three-year free-agent contract with the Browns in large part because Cleveland's offer was the most generous. At the same time, he says he also likes the process of turning teams around and the satisfaction that comes from doing that for passionate fans.
