Girls Regional Basketball Action Tonight 3/9/2010 9:20:19 AM | Joe Jastrzemski, AkronNewsNow.com The Green, Twinsburg and Walsh Jesuit Girls Basketball teams are in action tonight in the Regional Semi-final round of the Ohio High School Athletic Association Basketball Tournament. advertisement In Division One, the Green Bulldogs, champions of the Ellet District, take on the Canton McKinley Bulldogs, champions of the Alliance District in the Canton Regional. The game will be played at the Canton Civic Center at 6:15. The second game of the doubleheader tonight at the Canton Civic Center will feature Twinsburg, champions of the Warrensville Heights district taking on Brush, from the Northeast Ohio Conference. Tip off for Game number two is 8 pm. The winners meet Friday night for a trip to the Final Four in Columbus. Walsh Jesuit may have the toughest road to navigate tonight. The Warriors, ranked second in the final AP Girls High School Basketball Division Two Poll of the regular season, will play Tiffin Columbian. Tiffin finished the regular season number one in the AP Poll. Walsh Jesuit won the Uniontown District and Tiffin Columbian won the Ashland District. Game time tonight at Ontario High School, near Mansfield, is 8 o'clock. The winner of Walsh Jesuit/Tiffin Columbian will meet the winner of Rocky River/Waseon Friday night for a trip to Columbus.
