Money Coming For Two Summit County Golfers 2/8/2010 12:05:36 PM | Joe Jastrzemski, AkronNewsNow.com Summit County's two favorite local golfers collected paychecks in tournaments they entered over the weekend. advertisement Stow resident Ben Curtis collected a paycheck on the PGA Tour at the Northern Trust Open at Riviera Country Club in Los Angeles. Walsh Jesuit Alum Ryan Armour collected a check on the Nationwide Tour at their event in Australia. Curtis finished with a score of 2 over par 286 (73-68-75-70). Curtis picked up 7 FedEx Cup points and a check worth $13,568. In three events this year, Curtis has won $41,708 and is in 105th place on the Money List. After 2 events on the Nationwide Tour, Armour has won $4,135, which is good for a tie for 44th place on the Monday List. The Nationwide Tour has a couple of weeks off.
