SportsAUDIO City Series Football Championship Friday

It's for all the marbles in the Akron City Series on Friday night. Buchtel meets Garfield for the Championship at InfoCision Stadium.

Both teams have identical records of 5-0 in the City Series and 6-3 overall.
Buchtel has an outside shot at the State Division III Playoffs with a victory over Garfield. Currently, Buchtel is 10th in Division III Region 9. The Griffins will need help from a lot of other schools in order to qualify.
Garfield is out of the State Playoff picture. The players say winning the City Series Championship is at the top of their agenda.
Buchtel head coach Ricky Powers says the Golden Rams are a very solid team.
Golden Rams head coach Bob Sax says Buchtel has the speed advantage over his team, both on offense and defense.
Wary of the speed of Buchtel
The kickoff between Buchtel and Garfield takes place at 7 o'clock Friday night at InfoCision Stadium.
