  AKRON, Ohio – The 2012 OHSAA Softball State tournament started Thursday at Firestone Stadium with all four of the reigning state champions still alive and searching for the repeat.   After Thursday’s Division III and Division IV semifinals that number of defending champions is down to three. In a rematch of last year’s Division IV state championship game the Convoy Crestview Knights defeated Strasburg-Franklin 8-7 in a tale of two games.   Last year the Lady Tigers defeated Crestview 3-1 in the final game.
