Teri A. Greene, 64, passed away May 10, 2009. She was born in Akron and was a 1963 graduate of Garfield High School. She was also a member of the South Arlington United Methodist Church for over 50 years, where she enjoyed singing in the choir.
Preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Sallie Young, she is survived by her son, David Greene; grandsons, David II and Devon; sisters, Sally (Jim) Ricchiuto, Sharon (Bill) Proctor, Margie (Glenn) Taylor, Loretta (Michael) Wieland and Nancy (Dean) Angle; brother, Jack Young; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff of Maison Aine for their heartfelt care of Teri during this difficult time.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2009, at 6 p.m. at the Eckard Baldwin Sanctuary Chapel, 760 E. Market St., Akron, OH 44305, with Rev. Nan Morgan officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home for TWO HOURS prior to the service, from 4 – 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home in memory of Teri Greene.
