Sidney N. Grebelsky, 87, died Oct. 26, 2009. A lifetime resident of Akron, Sid graduated from West High School where he excelled in tennis. A U. S. Navy veteran, he was an avid sportsman, enjoyed bowling and golf and was the owner of Sid’s Tire Service. Preceded in death by wife, Shirley; daughters, Gail Grebelsky and Lynn Coben; and grandson, Mark A.; he is survived by sons, Gary (Colleen), Mark (Ann), and Robert (fiance, Susan); 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; sister, Lea Fisher; and brother, Harry Grebelsky. Services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., with Dr. Donard M. Engle officiating. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call 4-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. (Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel)
