Hemera/Thinkstock(WASHINGTON) -- At least three people have been killed in an explosion aboard a bus carrying Israeli tourists at a Bulgarian airport, according to several local media reports and a city official.
An explosion struck the bus in the early evening at an airport in Bulgaria’s eastern coastal city of Burgas, a city official told ABC News. In addition to the deaths, another four people are in critical condition, the official said. About 40 people were on the bus when it exploded.
U.S. State Department officials told ABC News they were aware of the reports of an explosion and were attempting to verify the details.
