(HAVANA) -- Cuban President Raul Castro is currently visiting his Asian allies China and Vietnam to strengthen their communist ties, according to the Washington Times.
On Wednesday, Castro arrived in Beijing to meet with Chinese President Hu Jintao for four days, then on to Vietnam.
This is the first visit by Castro to both countries since he took power in 2008 from his ill brother, Fidel Castro.
