CINCINNATI (AP) -- Military veterans and honors will be part of a memorial service in southwest Ohio for a World War II Doolittle Raider.

Maj. Thomas C. "Tom" Griffin was a B-25 bomber navigator in the daring bombing attack on mainland Japan during World War II. The Cincinnati-area resident died last week at age 96.

His death leaves four surviving Raiders. Lt. Col. Richard Cole is among them and is expected to take part in Saturday's service. A B-25 flyover also is planned at the Green Township Veterans Park.

A Wright-Patterson Air Force Base honor guard, VFW representatives and a pipe and drum corps also will help pay tribute to Griffin.
