CINCINNATI (AP) -- Job seekers could win more than employment this weekend from a Cincinnati-based company.
Freight brokerage firm Total Quality Logistics has a national "open house" Saturday at its 18 locations from Austin, Texas, to Tampa, Fla. The company says it has more than doubled employees since 2009, to more than 2,000 nationally. It wants to add 300 to 400 jobs this year, primarily entry-level sales positions.
Applicants Saturday will get a chance to win more than $60,000, which the company says is the average annual compensation for a sales employee after two years.
They must punch in the correct six-digit code to "unlock" the prize vault. The company says applicants can walk away with the money without getting hired. They must be at least 18 years old.
