TIFFIN, Ohio (AP) -- A 56-year-old woman has suffered serious injuries in an all-terrain vehicle accident in Eden Township.

Joyce E. Ziegler of Bloomfield was riding an ATV at about 2:30 p.m. Sunday when she struck a dog in the road and lost control of the ATV, which overturned. She was taken to Tiffin Mercy Hospital and later airlifted to Toledo St. Vincent Hospital.

Police say she was not wearing a helmet.
