Ohio man pleads guilty in 2 deaths

DAYTON, Ohio (AP) -- An Ohio man has admitted his guilt in the death of a woman whose SUV was hit by his car as he was speeding away from deputies because of a traffic violation.

Prosecutors said Dorian L. Lucas of Dayton entered guilty pleas Friday to charges in four cases, including aggravated vehicular homicide for the death of 38-year-old Natasha Lawson of Trotwood. Lawson died from a blood clot during surgery weeks after the Oct. 11, 2010, hit and run.

The 21-year-old Lucas also pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter in the death last year of 23-year-old Jamahl Moore; to possession of heroin during a 2010 traffic stop; and to two counts of felonious assault with a firearm for shooting at residents of a Dayton home Dec. 6.

His sentencing is Aug. 20.
