NEW CASTLE, Pa. (AP) -- Police say an Ohio man was shot dead outside a western Pennsylvania Elks Club early Friday morning.

New Castle police Chief Robert Salem says 36-year-old Marcus Edward Smith, of Youngstown, was found with several gunshot wounds in the parking lot of the New Castle Elks Club at about 1:50 a.m. That's about 60 miles north of Pittsburgh.

Police are still investigating, and no arrests have been made.
