Fatal Car Crash: Nimishillen

A fatal car crash is under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol that occurred Monday, killing 82-year old Edward Dickey of Minerva, Ohio.

According to the Canton Post, Dickey drove off the right side of the road, over corrected and continued off the left side of Paris Avenue. After striking an embankment, Dickey's vehicle flipped and came to rest in a small creek.

Nimishillen Township rescue responded and found Dickey un-responsive. He was later pronounced dead at Mercy Medical Center in Canton.

Mr. Dickey was not wearing his seat belt and it is unknown if alcohol played a role in the crash.
