It's not often you see a trash truck in the middle of a cemetery, but that's exactly what happened Friday in Wayne County.
The Wayne County Sheriff's Department says deputies responded to the Easton Union Memorial Cemetery in Chippewa Township Friday afternoon after a report of a traffic crash
Deputies found the unoccupied trash truck in the middle of the cemetery - it was originally parked nearby due to a mechanical problem, and then rolled down the cemetery's sandstone steps.
There are reports of several damaged grave markers after the trash truck rolled into the cemetery.
The sheriff's department says those with family members buried in Easton Union Memorial Cemetery should check grave markers for damage, then contact Chippewa Township trustees.
