Hi I'm Cubby and I'm one happy boy. Despite my age, I have the energy of a younger dog but the maturity you are looking for. I enjoy my breaks outside of my crate and time spent with the people who care for me. How did an older guy like me end up here? I was good to humans, I trusted them ... so it is a mystery to me too. Hi I'm Toby and I'm a real sweetheart once you get to know me. It the only reason I was returned to One of a Kind Pets was because of human drama... ugh! Imagine, in my middle age years, being in a home and then coming to a shelter where it's loud and fast-paced. I was beyond scared and was fearful to trust. But now that I know the routine, I'm doing wonderfully. Except for one thing: I want more attention than the staff has time for. I don't need someone who is here 24/7 (though it would be a dream come true) but someone to spend one-on-one time with me. As long as my canine friends her are relaxed we get along great so an existing dog is not out of the question. Gotta Love A Beagle!!! We do! Snoopy is an older, relaxed guy who just goes with the flow. He is very affectionate towards humans and yearns for more attention than he can get at the shelter. Like all dogs, but especially older dogs, Snoopy deserves to be in a house with a bed and couch and surrounded by love, not this stressful shelter environment. Hi I'm Daisy... you haven't met a sweeter, relaxed, and highly agreeable dog until you've met me. I haven’t had hardly any human interaction but somehow I know that humans are supposed to love us and I want to know that love. I came from a hoarding situation, so I've been around lots of dogs and I see them as my friends. I'm very quiet and not demanding at all. Petting me is something that I have newly experienced and I like it too. I need someone who doesn't mind that I move a little slow … there is nothing wrong with me … I’m just that mild. And, I nap a lot too : ). Don't worry about my fur coat. I was shaved due to matting and it is growing back beautifully. Would you change my life forever and show me the love of humanity?
