Akron Police had to do a little extra to nab two suspects who tried to run from them yesterday.        

Jamie Lee Carr, 25, of Concord Avenue was charged with Obstructing Official Business, Resisting Arrest and Willful Fleeing. Carr tried to flee from officers after he was stopped for a traffic violation. He ran from the vehicle and was apprehended and fought with officers until he was placed in handcuffs.

Darryl E Fischer, of Mogadore Road was charged with Receiving Stolen Property, Willful Fleeing, Obstructing Official Business and Resisting Arrest. Darryl led officers on a vehicle chase after they attempted a traffic stop. He eventually crashed into a tree and ran from the vehicle. He was apprehended and continued to fight with officers until he was placed in cuffs. The vehicle was found to be stolen from Dodge Avenue.
