A FirstEnergy electrician is in hot water for allegations that he stole $28,000 worth of copper materials.
31-year old Jesse Hensel of Clinton is now facing theft charges in connection with stealing copper cables and bus bars from various company yards and job sites.
Police say he would then take the copper materials to local scrap yards for cash. Hensel turned himself in around 9:00 this morning and was booked into the Summit County Jail.
Hensel was employed with First Energy for nearly four years.
