A 26-year old Akron man has been found guilty by a jury of felonious assault and other charges from a home invasion robbery and shooting.
Alfonzo Henderson, Jr.was also found guilty on charges of Aggravated Robbery, Aggravated Burglary, Felonious Assault, all with firearm specifications and Having Weapons Under Disability.
On January 2nd, Henderson and two other men kicked in the door of a home on Miles Street. Henderson, surprised to find anyone home, shot a man inside multiple times, and then ran from the house. The victim was able to identify the shooter when police arrived.
Summit County Common Pleas Judge Alison McCarty will sentence Henderson on August 9th.
