Former U.S. Rep. Betty Sutton has a new job.
President Obama tapped her to be the administrator of the St. Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation.
The corporation manages the United States side of the seaway that connects the Port of Montreal to Lake Erie.
Sutton represented parts of Summit, Medina, Cuyahoga, and Lorain Counties from 2006 until earlier this year. She lost a hotly contested race to Republican Jim Renacci in November.
