Updated 9:45 p.m. Police report Robert Pitts Jr. is now in custody in Chicago. Police say he was taken into custody without incident and will remain in the Cook County Jail pending extradition back to Ohio.

The Summit County Medical Examiner's office has released the names of the two men killed in a South Rose Boulevard apartment.
Dead are Bryan K. May, a 53-year-old male from S. Rose Blvd. in Akron and Jeremy A. Putra, a 20 year-old male from S. Rose Blvd in Akron. Cause of death for both was by stabbing and the deaths have been ruled homicide.
Akron police have an active aggravated murder warrant post for Robert Pitts, Jr., 19, also of S. Rose Blvd. Both victims were found by Akron police who entered the apartment Wednesday morning shortly before two o'clock. A Jeep Liberty belonging to one of the victims was later found in Ashtabula.

(Akron PD) Aggravated Murder warrants were signed for Robert Pitts Jr., black male, 19 years old, 5’10” and weighs about 215 lbs.
Shortly before 2:00am this morning, officers responded to an apartment on South Rose Boulevard to check the welfare of the residents. When officers arrived, they entered through an unlocked door. Officers found two males, a 53 year old and a 20 year old, both with fatal stab wounds. According to witnesses, Robert Pitts Jr., has resided on South Rose Boulevard for the last couple of weeks.
The 2006 Jeep Liberty with Ohio license plate of FID-1963 was located in Ashtabula, Ohio.
Robert Pitts Jr. should be considered armed and extremely dangerous.
