An Akron man was arrested over the weekend for allegedly firing shots at a car driven by two women who gave him a ride home.
Around 3:30 a.m. Saturday morning, the two women offered 22-year-old Joseph Palmer a ride home to his house on Riverside Drive.
Police say Palmer went into the house, came out with a gun and fired shots at the car. No one was injured.
Palmer was charged with felonious assault, weapons under disability, criminal damaging, and discharging a firearm. He was booked into the Summit County Jail and the weapon was recovered in the front yard.
