A lightning strike may have started an apartment building fire in Akron's Timber Top apartments.
Akron fire tells AkronNewsNow.com that the building caught fire on Amber Hills Drive off Portage Trail West at just before 5 p.m. Saturday. That was in the middle of a severe storm that passed through Summit County.
No one was hurt, but a number of residents were displaced by the fire. Many are being helped by the American Red Cross.
Cuyahoga Falls firefighters helped Akron firefighters battle the fire.
Though it is believed a lightning strike started the blaze, the fire is still under investigation.
