An Akron man is wanted in connection with an assault at a local bar.
Around 9 p.m. Wednesday night, a 55-year-old man and a 53-year-old man were assaulted with a pool stick at the King Sportsman Tavern on West Waterloo Road.
Akron Police Lieutenant Rick Edwards says police have issued felonious assault warrants for 25-year-old Bradley Sherman of Akron.
A bar employee reported to police Sherman was told to leave the bar earlier becaise he tried to take a beer.
Sherman returned with two other men and allegedly used a cue stick to attack two men seated at the bar.
Both men suffered head injuries after the incident. One was transported to Barberton Citizens Hospital and the other was treated on scene by paramedics.
Sherman is a white man, 25-years-old, standing 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighing 175 pounds.
Anyone with information about Sherman’s whereabouts is asked to contact Akron police.
