Forgiveness doesn't mean forgetting but retirement is a gift that lasts forever.
Former Interval Brotherhood Home chief Father Sam Ciccolini's request to retire from the Catholic Diocese has been approved. The Beacon Journal says Bishop Richard Lennon approved "Father Sam's" request in May but it's only making the public rounds now.
The 70-year old priest served six months in federal prison for tax fraud and other charges. He's not commenting but the Diocese says the request was approved for "health reasons."
Father Sam founded the nterval Brotherhood Home, which assists individuals with drug and alcohol dependecy in 1970.
