Akron Police say a group of men and women attacked a 16-year old boy last Friday night in Goodyear Heights.
The teen was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was treated for head and facial injuries.
Police say they found the boy around 11 p.m. Friday night staggering in the street at Goodyear Boulevard and Colony Crescent.
The teen told police he was attacked by several men and women that night. The group was last seen in a white Chevy Impala. Police have no suspects and no further details at this time.
According to police, neighbors reported hearing shots fired in the same area before seeing a white car take off.
