Police: 5-Year-Old Removed From Akron Meth House

Akron police busted another meth lab in Akron and removed a 5-year-old girl from the home Tuesday afternoon.

Police say officers followed up on a drug complaint in the 2700 block of Paxton Avenue and found the meth lab inside a bedroom around 2 p.m.

The suspects were identified as Jessica L. Lawson, 24, and Kory B. Huffman, 29, both of Paxton Avenue. They were charged with illegal manufacturing of methamphetamines, illegal assembly of chemicals, possession of methamphetamines and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The suspects' daughter is staying with a family member.
