Woman Gets Prison Time For Failing To Disclose HIV Status

A Lima woman who was found guilty of felonious assault last month for not disclosing her HIV status will be spending some time in prison.

Summit County Prosecutors said Monday Kelly Bean will be spending the next eight years in prison for not telling two men she had sex with that she was HIV positive before having sex with them.

Bean was sentenced by visiting judge Robert Brown.

She was found guilty February 8.
