Uniontown police found some suspicious trash on the side of the road, which turned out to be a bag filled with chemicals and items used to make meth.
On Wednesday, officers found the bag on Mogadore Avenue around 6 p.m. The bag was apparently thrown outside, but authorities have not located or identified any suspects.
Police are advising residents to contact law enforcement if they see any suspicious items on the side of the road.
Police say residents should look out for common items used to make meth including plastic bottles with crystalized material inside, blister packs of Sudafed products, ice packs and lithium batteries.
