Canton Police Searching For Alleged Dump Truck Thief

Authorities in Canton are looking for the person they say is responsible for stealing a dump truck from the city's sanitation department.

NewsChannel 5 reports no arrests have been made in connection with the case, but Canton police are following leads.

The TV station reports the theft occurred Monday morning around 6 a.m. when a man allegedly took the truck from the parking lot without any consent.

Law enforcement officials say they are confident they will track down the person who stole the dump truck.
