Tallmadge Man Arrested After Weekend Robberies

Akron police arrested a Tallmadge man for his alleged role in a robbery Saturday morning.

Police say the suspect, Steven Charles D'Agostine, 43, of Tallmadge, handed a teller a note demanding money at GenFed Federal Credit Union on Wedgewood Drive. The teller handed him an unknown amount of money and fled in a car after the man indicated that he had gun with him,

Police believe the suspect also robbed a Huntington Bank in Cuyahoga Falls on Sunday.

A tip led police to a home where they found the suspect. D'Agostine was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery. He was booked into the Summit County Jail.
