A domestic violence call turned deadly Sunday morning in Twinsburg. Police have charged 50-year old Glenn Wong with aggravated murder in the death of his 46-year old wife, Tami, who died at Cleveland Clinic's Twinsburg Family Health Center campus.

Police say they were called to the Wong home on Abrams Drive after 7:00 Sunday morning by the 10-year old daughter of the couple, who can be heard on 9-1-1 audio pleading for dispatchers to send police to her home. The couple can be heard arguing in the background as the dispatcher talks to the child, even advising her to take the phone and her eight-year old brother outside the home for their own safety.
Audio from the call quickly escalates as the domestic altercation intensifies and screams of Tami Wong can clearly be heard in the background. The audio is exceptionally graphic and disturbing of a 10-year old calling for police and ambulance assistance during the incident when her father allegedly stabbed her mother.
Glenn Wong was also transported to the same Cleveland Clinic health campus as his wife; police say he was treated for non-life threatening injuries. He appeared in Stow Municipal Court this morning and bond was set at $1 million dollars. He remains in the Summit County Jail.

(Twinsburg PD) On Sunday, February 24, 2013, at 7:06 AM Twinsburg police officers responded to a residence on Abrams Drive on a domestic violence call in progress. Upon arrival, officers located a female in a first floor bedroom suffering from multiple stab wounds. Twinsburg Fire & Rescue transported her to the Emergency Department at the Cleveland Clinic Twinsburg Family Health & Surgery Center where she expired from her wounds. The victim is Tami Wong, age 47.
Her husband, Glenn Wong, age 50, was taken to the Cleveland Clinic in Twinsburg and treated for non-life threatening injuries. He was subsequently arrested and charged with Aggravated Murder. Wong is currently in the Summit County Jail awaiting video arraignment on Monday, February 25, 2013 at the Stow Municipal Court.
The Wong’s two children, a ten year old daughter and an eight year old son, were in the home at the time of the incident but were not injured. They are currently in the care of relatives. “Our hearts go out to these two children,” said Police Chief Chris Noga. “No child should ever have to endure this kind of tragedy and we ask our community to keep them in their thoughts and prayers.” This case is still currently under investigation.
