Akron Police Seek Highland Square Car Vandals

Akron Police are looking for vandals who have been smashing windows of cars parked in the Highland Square area.

Most of the vandalism is occuring in the Cliffside/Kingsley/Hawkins & Thurmont area and Mayfield/Maplewood neighborhoods. Police investigators say it appears several vehicles windows have been busted out, possibly by a bb gun by suspects in a passing car.

A witness from the Mayfield/Maplewood area recalled seeing a small beige or light brown car with 2 male occupants near the time of the vandalism. Akron Police are asking you to give them a call if you know anything about who the suspects could be
