Barberton Fire Department Investigating Tuesday Morning Blaze

The Barberton Fire Department is investigating a fire that occurred around 10 a.m.Tuesday morning on  W. Hopocan Avenue.

The blaze spread from a vacant home in the 500 block of W. Hopocan Avenue to another vacant home right next door. One of the homes was slated for demolition.

There were no injuries to firefighters or civilians. The Barberton Fire Department has no estimate on the damage to both homes.

No word on what started the fire.
