Two young boys have been arrested for robbing a man while he was shoveling snow.

Police say a 9-year-old and 13-year-old approached the man in the 800 block of Ruth Avenue around 3PM Thursday. One of the boys pulled a gun from his waistband, pointed it at the victim, and demanded money.

The victim fled, and so did the suspects, but the juveniles returned minutes later and asked for more money. The victim told them he didn't have any, and the two two fled again.

Both were arrested near Vernon Odom Boulevard and Mallison Avenue. Officers also recovered two BB guns that looked very realistic.

The boys remain in juvenile custody.
