Akron police are investigating a pair of robberies and a shooting that happened over the weekend.
On Saturday night around 10:30 p.m., police say a delivery driver for China Star Restaurant was robbed in the 1200 block of Cordova Avenue.
The victim told police he walked back to his car when no one answered the door to pay for the food. Police say a man approached the victim with a handgun and demanded money. The driver emptied his pockets and handed the suspect money.
Only a vague description of the suspect has been released.

On Sunday night around 10 p.m., Little Caesars on East Avenue was robbed at gunpoint. Police say a man walked in with a handgun and ordered the employees to give him money from the registers, safe and their pockets.
He fled with an unknown amount of cash.
Police describe the suspect as a white male, 30 – 40-years-old and about 6 feet tall. He was wearing a black sweatshirt with an eagle logo on the chest and a wing design down the back of the sleeves, blue jeans, yellow/brown Timberland boots, black knit gloves and a wearing white t-shirt, used as a mask wrapped around his face.
No arrests have been made.
Police arrested a Canton man after an Akron resident told police a man started firing shots into his home early Monday morning.

Officers responded to a shots fired call in the 200 block of Denver Street around 3 a.m. The resident told police the suspect came over his house and started firing shots into his home. No injuries were reported.
The victim identified the suspect as 38-year-old Allen F. Trent of Canton.
The Akron Police Department notified the Canton Police Department of warrants signed on Allen Trent.
Trent was then taken into custody and charged with felonious assualt, discharging a firearm into an occupied structure and having a weapon while under disability.
He was booked into the Summit County Jail.
