More than 1,650 FirstEnergy customers were without power Saturday morning after a vehicle crashed into a utility pole near Akron City Hospital.
Some Facebook users said it looked like lightening for a few minutes in the area just east of downtown Akron around 7:00 A.M., just after the crash.
According to FirstEnergy's outage map, the number of customers without electricity steadily went down throughout the morning with nearly everyone back to normal by 10:30 A.M.
