Akron Police finally have their man in connection with the January robbery of the Charter One Bank branch on East Waterloo Road.
Newschannel 5 reports police found 36-year old Michael Johnson in the Cuyahoga County Jail where's he's incarcerated on unrelated charges.
Johnson was identified from DNA taken from a black coat and ski mask left behind following the robbery.
Michael Johnson is charged with aggravated robbery.
Larry States has been a news anchor and reporter for 36 years at radio stations in Akron and Canton, including the last 26 at 1590 WAKR. States served as News Director of WAKR for 14 years.
