Akron Police have named a suspect in a deadly shooting from Wednesday night, but do not have him in custody:

Lieutenant Rick Edwards says the shooting happened around 10PM near the intersection of Buckingham Street and Fairbanks Place.

The victim has been identified by the Medical Examiner's office as 21-year-old Will Lamon of Akron.

Lamon was found shot in a car at that intersection. He was taken to Akron City Hospital, where he was pronounced dead around 10:30PM.

Police believe the incident is domestic-related. Police say Pope should be considered armed and dangerous.
