A new restaurant, set to open in Cuyahoga Falls in a matter of weeks, hopes to obtain a Sunday liquor license to allow for brunch to be served.

The Office Bistro and Bar is slated to open on Front Street sometime in November, and has an issue on the ballot for the license as Issue 9.

Steve Turner, owner of the business, says it's to allow for a champagne mimosa to be served with their Sunday brunch.

Turner already operates a similar restaurant on North Main Street in Akron, and has never had any problems with his establishment.

He says the location in the Falls will be open until 8PM on Sundays, and Issue 9 only affects their restaurant.

Turner did not have an exact date for opening, but indicates it will employ about 15 full-time workers, and 30 part-timers.

Turner says the license would allow The Office to compete with other similar businesses nearby.
