It wasn't just a dream for one Cuyahoga Falls resident who woke up to the sound of someone breaking into his home early Thursday morning.

The homeowner quickly ran outside of his house in the 3100 block of Akron-Peninsula Road and called police around 4 a.m. But in an interesting turn of events, officers found the suspect asleep in the homeowner's bed. Police found the south side kitchen door window kicked in.

Police ended up tazing the suspect after a brief struggle when they tried to make an arrest. Jacob S. Parker, 22, of Akron, was charged with burglary and resisting arrest.

Police also found a purse and a cell phone belonging to the suspect's girlfriend in Parker's car which prompted a welfare check at her apartment. She was found unresponsive and extremely intoxicated, according to police. Cuyahoga Falls EMS were called to check up on the 21-year-old woman.
