I-77 Driver Dies From Self-Inflicted Gunshot

The State Highway Patrol is investigating an incident Tuesday on I-77 in Bath Township where the driver of a Ford pick-up truck died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

The incident occurred after the 50-year old driver stopped his truck on the shoulder of the southbound lanes of the interstate.

The incident remains under investigation.
