A woman is facing a list of felony charges after leading Massillon police on a chase when she hijacked a tow truck with her repossessed SUV attached to it.

Police tell the Massillon Independent the 7.5 mile chase ended when 21-year-old Sophia Davidson lost control and crashed into a vacant home on Orrville Street Friday morning around 11 a.m.

Police say Davidson jumped in the tow truck as the driver was attempting to repossess her SUV. A semi-truck even tried to help police officers by blocking the woman's path during the chase.

Davidson has been charged with theft and fleeing and eluding police officers.
